Windows PowerShell on Windows Server 2008 Setup Howto

Windows PowerShell a command line shell and task-based scripting technology developed by Microsoft. This article describes how to install Windows PowerShell in Windows Server 2008.

Server Manager Shortcut1. Click Start and click Server Manager.
Server Manager2. In Server Manager, click Features.
Server Manager Features3. In the Features page, click Add Features.
Select Features4. In Select Features, check Windows PowerShell.
PowerShell Confirmation5. In Confirm Installation Selections, click Install.
Finished6. Finally, click Close.
